The Nexus 200 – stunning work
Sunday morning at about 9am the old trickle tower had been removed, we became very unhappy with the clarity of the pond and we bought a second hand Nexus 200 Eazy to replace it.
As you can see the clarity is about 6 inches down no more.
After connecting the filter up the pumps where swiched on at 4.00pm Sunday afternoon.
This photo was taken less than 24 hours later, 8am Monday.
Yes 16 hours to be able to see the bottom of the pond, 5 feet down.
It is the first time we have seen all of the fish clearly in over nine months.
The real sparkle has come back to the water after a further 24 hours.
Three weeks on the parameters are spot on and we could not be more pleased. Our only regret is that we did not go with the Nexus in the first place.
It is Eazy to be wise after the event.

We sell Evolution Aqua’s Nexus because we know that it is fantastic, we are pleased to see all of our own koi again and one of them is 27 years old.
Cedar Lodge Koi loves the Nexus, and we can advise on aspects of running the Nexus on your pond through experience, call in at Cedar Lodge Koi and see the water clarity for yourself.

| Jeeeeeeeesus !!! thats amazing where did you get it from? do you still need the one you ordered last week??? are you using sponge in the outlet? do you use sponges inside on the nexus too? Mike X |

| Hi Mike, The nexus came to us via Koi construction (Darren Charge) he fitted an upgrade and it was going up cheap so we took it for our pond Yes we still need the one ordered last week, that is definately replacing the TT in the barn now. Yes there is a sponge in the outlet and it caught 60% of the crud last night, the static K1 was so packed with muck this morning that it would not rotate to clean so I got a hose in there and stirred it up, dropped and then refilled and went through a ‘normal clean’ I am so pleased to see my fish again Ain’t Nexus brilliant (I don’t know but ask me when my fish are back on a kilo of feed a day) Speak to you soon Anne x |
