Dave fitted his Eazy Pod and the next day he was on the telephone to us twice to tell us how much “muck” he was getting out of his pond, he had to clean it three times on the first day.
On the second day he could see the writing on the top of his bottom drain cover, he had not done this in 16 years.

Cedar Lodge Koi – update on our opinion of the Eazy Pod

We are all victim to having the “latest big thing” every once in a while.
Is the Eazy Pod a fad or is it a good long term filter?

Cedar Lodge Koi have been running the Eazy Pod with koi on longer than anyone else in the world (that’s a fact) and we still think it is a brilliant small pond (up to 2000 gallons) filter. We have not found anything to better it yet, and we have looked. As a complete, easy to maintain, easy to fit filter it is fantastic.

The Lethal Challenge

One of the earliest shipped Eazy Pods went on to Anne Read’s mothers pond because Anne received an ultimatum,
“either find me a good filter that I can take care of or get rid of my pond”
believe you me, you do not mess with Anne’s mother.
With only one clear choice the Eazy Pod was fitted and the summer of 2006.
For the first time in over 12 years there was visible growth on all of the fish in the pond and the clarity was amazing.

Anne’s mother is happy and Anne is still alive to relate this tale.

P. s. Cedar Lodge Koi do not run just three Eazy Pod’s any more, they run seven; four on the shop floor and three in quarantine.
